I simply love holidays and celebrations! In our fast paced lives it remains important to all of us to celebrate the special occasions and holidays we all honor. Together in class we will be creating three different projects all perfect for many applications. All projects have been crafted and kitted in a neutral tones to insure they work with any theme however each one is also interchangeable with your favorite color scheme.

The first project we will work on is our fabric flowers and gift cards. Creating a handcrafted flower whether it is a bit shabby and glamorous or carefully crafted, a flower is the perfect addition to any gift. Of course a hand crafted card with a layering of lace and trim adds to the delightful presentation.

The second of our three projects is a joyful banner that is perfect for any occasion from birthdays and anniversaries to holidays and celebrations. Charming fabric flags are adorned with layers of trim, fabric and a bit of hand sewing. Hearts and the word Joy add a layer of happiness while trim and ribbon streamers bring everything together.

Our final project of the day is a journal cover and spiral bound book of days. I can think of no better way to keep all of my lists and celebration calendars organized than with a book created just for that very thing. A fabric cover altered with felt embellishments, hand stitching and layers of delectable fabric is not only charming but also inspiring.

Looking forward to a day of creative fun with you all!
